“Women of Grace Bible Presbyterian Church gathered together to turn pillowcases into little girl dresses for the children in Africa. These little dresses will be given to the mothers who attend church in the village. So many of the children are in need and the mothers turn to the church for help. Missionaries are giving the people these adorable dresses, recommendations on keeping their children healthy and God’s love in a tangible way. The ladies of our church enjoyed fellowship while they gathered around their sewing machines and carefully crafted these precious dresses to send to Africa.”
November’s Cooking Night:
“Women of Grace spent a chilly November evening cooking up food for those in need. Women of all cooking abilities fellowshipped together in the church’s kitchen to make enough meals for the Deacon’s Freezer. Around 75 nutritious meals for those in need of a warm dinner were lovingly prepared and packaged. While the freezer got filled, lots of laughter bubbled out of the kitchen and women got to better acquainted while they served others.”
December 11, 2012
In the month of December, the ladies of Grace enjoyed time together at the annual Ladies’ Christmas Dinner. It was an evening filled with good food, singing, fellowship with one another and a wonderful talk given by one of GBPC’s members. We were encouraged with the theme of adoption and how God has mercifully adopted us into His family by Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. It was a simple and precious way to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.
February’s Blanket Tying Event:

There will be opportunities for every interest level, so even if you don’t sew, this project is a good fit for everyone.”

April’s Women’s Retreat
Living Stones: Chosen and Precious
Strange as it may seen, we are living stones, and we are being built up into “a spiritual house, a holy priesthood” to glorify God (I Pe 2:4-5). This year’s women’s retreat focuses on being living stones that are chosen and precious for His glory alone. We will be looking at the minor prophet Haggai to understand our spiritual role as living stones in His church. Our keynote speaker is Tammy Peters.
If a fragile stone describes you better than a living stone, then you should come and be replenished and recharged. Or if you need to be reminded that you are His chosen and precious gem, then come and learn to reflect His image. The LORD is our Living Stone.
Join us on April 12-13, 2013 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Blue Ash.
May’s Summer Vacation Food Packing:
“Children who rely on school lunches often go hungry during their summer break. To serve the needs of these children, there will be an organized free food packing event. Women of Grace will pack high calorie food bags in an assembly line fashion for delivery to these needy children. Since work on the assembly line is easy, there will be lots of time for chatting and enjoying the company of other women in the church.” Date and times forth coming.
