Growing the Family Together

One of the goals we have as a church is to minister to whole family.  Help fathers and husbands honor God in their roles.  Help the mothers and wives find honor and joy in their roles.  Show the children the excitement of being in a covenant household and how to love and honor their parents.  To that end we make opportunites for families to be together, not only in Worship, but in times of other learning, service and fellowship.  Our Fellowship Committee works hard at creating events where the family can reinforce those values.

Some of the things we do as a family, besides Worship, are:
  • Family VBS: a week of singing, crafts, games and Bible study

  • SongFest: an evening of praising the Lord in song - choir, ensembles, soloists - followed by an ice cream social.

  • Church picnic: family picnic - games and great food

  • Christmas and Easter Cantatas by adult choir

  • Children/youth Christmas program

  • Annual Mission Trip: Team Timothy

  • There are many other times in the year when things are arranged for the whole family experience.  Check the news page and calendar often.
