What a sacred privilege we have to “proclaim the
name of the Lord”.And what a blessing to have the extra nudge
of knowing we must be prepared to teach what we study when we are spending time
in the Word.I sincerely hope that your
times in the Word are filled with the illumination of the Spirit and that God
applies His Word deeply in your heart and the hearts of your students.
Our training sessions are a great time to be
encouraged by the companionship of a room full of people who share the same
desire to bring their students to a fuller knowledge of the Lord. For your convenience this year’s Teacher
Training Session is offered on two dates: Saturday, February 3 (9:30
AM-12 PM) & Monday, February 12 (6:30-9 PM).You can choose whichever best fits your
schedule.
This year’s focus is on the “Seven Laws of
Teaching”.I’m sure it will help you to
be more effective as a teacher. We’ll explore how an understanding of the lesson,
language, teacher and the teaching process, as well as the learner and the
learning process can improve your effectiveness as a teacher.
The Saturday morning session will include a light
breakfast and the Monday evening session will include dinner. Please R.S.V.P. to Casey Southerland at casey.southerland@gracebpc.org or mark your
Fellowship Card which session you will attend.
